Community Tree Lighting
About the Event
The Town of Westlake Annual Tree Lighting has always been a much-enjoyed family fun event since 2003. And after a makeover of the event in 2017 with a move back to Solana and tremendous support of local restaurants and sponsors, the return of our hometown holiday celebration right in the heart of Westlake has had an attendance of 600-800 people each year.
We promise another magical evening for guests of all ages to join together and catch the holiday spirit as the Town of Westlake gives back to our beloved community of residents, students, neighbors, and business partners. We hope to see you there as we enjoy the ever-popular carriage rides again this year, along with our bounce houses, live reindeer to pet, and old-fashioned cake-walk, too. We always try to work in a few new features every year but back will be local food tastings from area restaurants, holiday tunes and...you can always count on cookies to decorate, hot cocoa and cider from the Marriott Solana Hotel, and of course - live musical performances and photos with Santa!
Our 2021 Annual Tree Lighting will be held at The Terrace of Solana, right next to Westlake Town Hall, on Tuesday, November 30, 2021. The Terrace is located at 1500 Solana Boulevard and there will be plenty of parking in the adjacent parking lots and two parking garages nearby. We hope to see you on Tuesday, November 30th from 6 - 9 pm!
This special night would not be possible without the support and generosity of our sponsors and vendors.
Sponsorships are still available and if you would like to join us this year, please contact Emily Mead via email or at 817.490.5768. Your community support is greatly appreciated and helps ensure this night is memorable for all!
And if you would like to help make this holiday memorable for those children and families in need, bring an unwrapped toy (suitable for tweens & teens) and/or dry food pantry items (no glass jars please) to the Westlake Fire Truck at the Tree Lighting as our firefighters will be collecting again this year in support of Christmas is for Children!
