In order to help our residents and stakeholders stay informed, the Town of Westlake staff would like to provide you the latest news for the rezoning case located near the intersection of Pearson Lane and Aspen Lane.
On April 16, 2018, the Planning and Zoning Commission tabled the Spencer Ranch zoning case (Z-11-17-17) until the May 14, 2018 Planning and Zoning Commission meeting to continue the public hearing.
Spencer Ranch is located on an approximately 38-acre portion of property located east of Pearson Lane and South of Aspen Lane. The applicant is proposing a zoning change from the currently R5-Country Residential to a new Planned Development District Number 7 (PD7). The request includes primary single-family residential uses and includes a concept plan, development, and a specific use permit for private streets. The applicant, Waterside Land Company, is requesting to develop a 72 lot single-family residential subdivision on the approximately 38-acre portion of the property.
