Westlake residents,
With Governor Abbott’s announcement yesterday to gradually re-open Texas, I wanted to share with you the status of our Town Hall and Municipal Court as we navigate through these unchartered times caused by the COVID-19 virus. Our current plan is to open our office doors to you on May 25th.
During this time, we will remain flexible as this date could change based on information we receive from local, state, and federal health experts regarding the spread of the virus to keep our staff, their families, and our community safe.
We will continue to monitor the situation and constantly evaluate our status in the coming days and weeks. In the meantime, know that our Town staff, while still working remotely, continues to serve our residents, businesses, and corporate partners at the highest level.
We’ll also keep you all informed in the event that the May 25th re-opening date changes.
As always, please stay safe, keep a distance of no less than 6 feet from others outside your family, regularly wash your hands, wear cloth face coverings (masks), and continue to do your part to help end the spread of COVID-19. #DoYourPart #DoYourDistance
Respectfully,
Amanda DeGan
Westlake Town Manager
