Westlake is governed by a Mayor and the Town Council. Each of the five members is elected for a two-year term.
The Town Council appoints the Town Manager, establishes town policies, and serves as the legislative body of the Town. In this capacity, the Council also approves the Town budget.
The Town Council typically holds its regular meetings on the second and fourth Monday of each month. These meetings begin at 7 p.m. at Town Hall, located in the Solana complex at 3 Village Circle, Suite# 202.
