The Arbor Day Foundation honored the Town of Westlake by awarding the town with one of the three Celebration awards given nationally.

During the weekend recognition event, Debra and Steve participated in many Arbor Day Foundation events, including tree planting ceremonies, a parade, receptions, and an awards banquet at which the Town of Westlake was recognized by receiving 1 of 3 celebration awards given nationally.
