Driver Safety Course information is provided here for your information.
** If you are speeding 25 or more miles over the speed limit in a regular zone or 15 or more miles over in a school zone you are NOT eligible for drivers safety by mail**
**If you have a CDL License, you are NOT eligible for defensive driving**
In order to request a driving safety course you must submit the following to the court:
$107.00 Court Cost Fee - $132.00 For Offenses in School Zone.
A valid copy of your Texas Drivers License.
A valid copy of your liability insurance card and/or policy.
Completed driving safety request form located below.
You will still be required to pay the cost of the class and the cost of obtaining your driving record from the State of Texas. You will also be required to return all of these items to the Court with an affidavit stating you have not completed defensive driving during the previous 12 months.
