Living In Westlake

Nestled between the Tarrant and Denton County borders, the Town of Westlake combines the feel of a rural Texas community with the convenience of the Metroplex.

Minutes from downtown Fort Worth, the Town of Westlake is home to several upscale residential communities and Fortune 500 companies, all of which share a unique character and charm, along with a commitment to excellence. A community park is found at Glenwyck Park, where 13.5 acres of open space include a running brook.

While nearby cities are easily accessible, staying in Town for dining and entertainment is just as easy. Local restaurants serve up Italian and Tex-Mex specialties, and choices even include a delicatessen.

Westlake Academy is an innovative Open Enrollment Charter School owned and operated by the Town of Westlake. All residents are eligible to enroll in the school, which currently offers grades K-11, with grade 12 being added for the 2009-2010 school year.  All grades are included in the rigorous international baccalaureate curriculum.
