Street Maintenance

Dove Road is Now Open!

Town staff is happy to report that the Dove Road reconstruction project is nearly finished, meaning as of today (August 17th), the road is now completely open to thru traffic.

The revised target date for completion was to be August 21st, but the crews were able to open the road 4 days earlier. Below is the very latest information about the project moving forward.

  • Message boards and temporary traffic control will be removed August 17th.
  • The bridge amenities are not complete but the road will remain open during this phase.
  • A painting contractor unrelated to the road project, spilled white paint along the eastern portion of the new section of paving. Staff is working to identify the contractor through pictures that the Tarrant County road crew obtained, in an effort to require restitution.
  • Total rainfall for August through the 16th  is 3.24 inches.

Again, we sincerely thank you for your patience.
