The Westlake Fire / EMS Department strives to provide our residents, business owners and visitors with the highest level of professional service.  We are a progressive department that aspires to continually improve the quality of service that we provide in the areas of fire, rescue, medical emergencies, hazardous materials incidents and other emergency services.  We pledge to serve the Westlake community with dedication, compassion and service excellence.

Westlake Fire / EMS Department includes a staff of nine full-time firefighter/paramedics and twenty part-time firefighter/paramedics.  We operate our department with three shifts and each shift is twenty-four hours from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 a.m.  The department and its personnel are currently housed out of a temporary fire station located at 2900 Dove Road.  The Westlake Fire / EMS Department covers approximately 7 square miles of Tarrant and Denton counties.

We would like to extend an invitation to all of our citizens to stop in and visit the firehouse.  If I can be of any additional service to you on behalf of the Westlake Fire / EMS Department, please do not hesitate to contact me at (817) 337-4722.

Respectfully,
