Community Tree Lighting
About the Event
The Town of Westlake Annual Tree Lighting has always been a much-enjoyed family fun event since 2003. And, after the 2017 return of our hometown holiday celebration right in the heart of Westlake (at The Plaza in Solana at 1301 Solana Boulevard), and with an estimated attendance in 2017 of more than 600, we are having great difficulty in containing our excitement for the 2018 Westlake Community Tree Lighting coming up on Thursday, November 29!
We promise another magical evening for guests of all ages to join together and catch the holiday spirit as the Town of Westlake gives back to our beloved community of residents, students, neighbors, and business partners. We hope to see you there as we enjoy even more carriage rides and bounce houses, with live reindeer to pet and an old-fashioned cake-walk, too. We are bringing back local food tastings from area restaurants, with holiday tunes and...you can always count on cookies to decorate, hot cocoa and cider, live musical performances, and of course - photos with Santa!
Shuttle service is available this year, thanks to Solana Managment, at 1400 Solana Blvd - Terrace Parking Garage. We hope to see you on Thursday evening, November 29, from 6 - 8 pm!
This special night would not have been possible without the support and generosity of our sponsors and vendors noted below. Your community support is greatly appreciated and helps ensure this night is memorable for all!
And if you would like to help make this holiday memorable for those children and families in need, bring an unwrapped toy (suitable for older children/teens) and/or food pantry items (no glass jars please) to the Westlake Fire Truck at the Tree Lighting as our firefighters will be collecting again this year in support of Christmas is for Children!
