TRAFFIC ALERT: There is work currently underway on the eastbound frontage road of Highway 170 that may impact your drive. The contractor is removing existing concrete pavement and will excavate and install new culvert boxes. This has caused the eastbound frontage road (EBFR) just past Roanoke Rd. to be closed. Weather permitting, this closure is estimated to continue through the end of this month or early next month.
• Next week on Thursday, November 17th the westbound (WB) exit ramp just east of Roanoke Road is scheduled to close to continue the installation of the same drainage culvert. WB traffic coming from SH 114 will be forced off to the frontage road at the Parish Lane exit. Weather permitting, this closure is estimated to last through the end of this month or early next month as well.
• The final closure will involve getting the culvert across the westbound frontage road. This impact will be to close the WB frontage road east of Roanoke Road. However, this closure will not be allowed to start until the WB main lane entrance ramp east of Parish Lane is completed. This is still a little while away from that happening since that entrance ramp has not been paved yet.
