Water Meter Maintenance

You’ll soon see some major upgrades to Westlake’s infrastructure.  In the coming weeks, staff will begin performing audits on water meters across Town.  It’s all a part of the new water meter and system maintenance program and billing software upgrade the Town will be rolling out in the next few months.  The new maintenance program will ensure your equipment is working properly and is replaced when necessary.  The new billing system will improve our processes leading to better accuracy and efficiency.

We’ll start the audits with our major corporate campuses now and then move to our neighborhoods in early 2025.   When that occurs, you may see some of our staff near your water meters, but not to worry, they’ll be dressed in Westlake gear, they’ll be driving a Westlake-branded vehicle, and will have identification with them.

The goal is to move as quickly as possible so as to not disrupt your day.  If any work on your meter is needed, we’ll first let you know before making any necessary repairs/replacements.  And the best part,  this will be at no cost to you.  It’s a much-needed improvement that will truly benefit all our residents and corporate partners.
