Meet Kevin Smith, Place 3
A lifelong Texas resident, Kevin Smith built a real estate empire from the ground up. After receiving a Business Administration and Finance degree, Smith owned multiple insurance agencies for more than 30 years. In 2020, he founded Cambium Builders, a luxury homebuilding business, where he works with his two sons in the Keller, Southlake, and Westlake areas.
Running for Town Council meant giving back to the community that Smith and his family fell in love with after moving to Westlake in 2018. During his term, he hopes to continue the Town’s development efforts efficiently while preserving its unique character for corporate visitors and a laid-back lifestyle that attracts residents.
Smith's active involvement in real estate and building processes draws his focus towards Westlake's current corporate developments along Highway 114, including the Circle T Ranch and Charles Schwab areas, and inside Entrada’s residential expansion and commercial properties.
When he’s not planning his next project, Kevin loves to travel and explore the outdoors with his wife, Stephanie Smith, their three children, their grandchild, and their beloved dog, Coco.
