Pay Your Utility Bill

One-time credit card payments, recurring credit card payments, & recurring bank drafts can all be set up through your online account. To get started, you will need a working email address to receive a verification code, your account number, and either your last name or the amount billed on your previous month's bill. Please click on the link above to access the online payment portal, and then follow the instructions below

To make a one-time payment:

  • PAY AS GUEST: In the upper right-hand corner, there is a box that says "Pay as Guest." Click on the "Pay Now" button. Fill out the form on the next page. Choose "Utility Payment" under Payment Type. No login required, and your information will not be saved.
  • LOG IN: After you have set up your account (see next section), click the "Other Payments" button under "Quick Links" on the main page. You will be able to submit your payment. 

To set up a new account:

  • CREATE: Click on the "Create your account" link near the bottom of the page. 
  • REGISTER: Fill out the form & choose a password OR use your Apple or Google account to sign in.
  • VERIFY: Check your email for verification instructions.
  • LINK: Once you are logged in, you will need to link your account(s). If you are on the "home" page that asks you to choose between "Where to?" and "Quick Links," choose the button underneath "Where to?" It should say "Utility Bill."
    • On the next screen, there is a menu on the left & two boxes on the right. The box that says "Customer Info" will show your account name, service address, and mailing address. Please ensure that this information is correct. 
    • Under your mailing address, it will say whether or not you're enrolled in paperless billing and show 4 buttons. Click the lower left button says, "Link an Account."
    • For the customer number, use the account number found in the upper right-hand corner of your bill. ***If you are referring to a bill that was issued before 10/01/2025, leave out all dashes and leading zeroes. For example, if your account number says "001-0000234-002," then you would enter "10000234005." 
    • Use the account-holder's last name in the second field. If your account is under something other than one person's name (business, trust, multiple people's names, etc.), try the last word of the account. If you continue to have trouble, please send an email to utilitybilling@westlaketx.gov. We may need to update your account.

After you have linked your account, click on the "Utility Bill" button under the "Where to?" label. This will take you to the portal where you can manage your account. You can view bills, check on payments, and enroll in or manage Auto-Pay.

Payment Options:

  • ONE-TIME PAYMENT: Without logging in, you can Pay as Guest from the portal login page. Click the "Pay Now" button in the upper right-hand corner. All credit card transactions will be charged a 3% fee. Your payment information will not be saved.
  • ONE-TIME BANK DRAFTS or CREDIT CARD DRAFTS:  After logging in, click the "Other Payments" box. Choose "Utility" for the first two questions. Under #3, Payment Details, enter your customer number with no leading zeroes & no dots or dashes. Fill out the rest of the form. Any bank draft, ACH, or E-check transactions will be assessed a $1 fee. Any credit card transactions will be assessed a 3% fee.
  • AUTOMATIC BANK or CREDIT CARD DRAFTS (Recommended): 
    • After logging in, choose the "Manage Auto Pay" option either from the menu on the left or the "Customer Info" box. 
    • Under "Schedule," choose which day you would like the funds to be drafted. This option allows you to choose a day prior to the due date for your draft date. 
    • Choose your payment method & fill out the form with your information. 
    • You will still receive a bill, and funds will be drafted automatically on the date of your choosing. Due dates will fall on the 27th or the nearest business day each month. Exact due dates will be published on our main Utility Billing page annually.
