The Town of Westlake has engaged Baker Tilly, a national consulting firm that has assisted hundreds of local governments with improving operations and resource allocation. The Westlake project involves the development of a five-year strategic plan, the development of a fiscal sustainability model, and the development of an economic development plan. The following brief survey will gather your thoughts and ideas about your vision for the Town, strengths, challenges, opportunities, and strategic priorities that the Town should achieve or initiate by the year 2029. Strategic planning involves establishing a vision for the future along with a clear mission; articulating the organization’s values; identifying priority areas; and establishing goals, strategies, and critical success factors. Importantly, the strategic plan will be used to guide work planning by all Town departments to ensure the delivery of timely results.
Because your opinion is valued by Mayor Greaves, Town Council members, and administrative leaders, Baker Tilly has prepared this survey to gather feedback and input from the community about the future of Westlake.
All survey responses will be anonymous. No responses will be directly identified with any individual. The Baker Tilly team will prepare a summary after the survey closes and the responses are analyzed. The summary responses will be used by the Town Council during an upcoming workshop to set the policy direction, goals and strategies. The resulting goals and strategies will be used to guide resource allocation over the next five years.
The survey will take about 10-15 minutes to complete and should be done in one sitting.
