The Town of Westlake Public Works team is asking residents to conserve water due to both the pump station and generators being down in our elevated storage tank. Contractors are working hard to fix the issue as quickly as possible, but there's no timetable on when it may be repaired. In the meantime, we're asking that you turn off all residential sprinkler systems and conserve however you can so that we can make our supply last until repairs are made.
Right now, we have about 10 feet, 6 inches of water left in the tank and are using about a foot an hour. To avoid running out and potentially facing a boil water notice, please limit all water use immediately. Town staff is currently working with the City of Keller to buy additional water but that is not a speedy process so conserving is the best approach right now. We'll keep you updated on any developments.
