The Medal of Honor motorcade will pass through Westlake on Thursday, April 25th. They will begin their trek from DFW Airport somewhere between 3-5 pm. It's always an emotional scene as hundreds of people gather across North Texas as the Congressional Medal of Honor recipients make their way from the airport to Gainesville. Our Westlake Fire-EMS crews will have their trucks set up on the overpass of Davis Boulevard and Highway 114.
You can park in Entrada and walk over and join them as we celebrate these heroes. You're encouraged to bring American flags to wave and show your support. It is truly an amazing sight to see, we hope you can join us.
